Learning Target: Students will understand that everyone can learn mathematics to the highest level.

Instructions

d zelenka3This is an individual project. Students will submit one graphic in JPG, PNG, or PDF format.

It will include:

  1. Your full name.
  2. A slogan or tagline that incorporates the meaning, "I am a Mathematician!" Paraphrasing is OK.
  3. A picture of you:
    • Photograph
    • Your own Ilustration of you (do not use an online tool to create this)
    • Desmos graph which represents your face.
  4. Math graphics of something you learned. (You may use content from one of your other projects.)
    • Graph
    • Sketch
    • Equation
  5. Repeated pattern. Math is all about patterns. Use a repeated pattern in your design. If you wish to use tesselations, see one of the tesselation generators below.

What tools can I use for this project?

  • PowerPoint
  • Desmos.com
  • GIMP
  • InkScape
  • OpenSCAD
    (or a combination of the tools above)

Submission

Do not submit a PowerPoint, Sway, or Word document. A graphic file must be submitted. If you use PowerPoint, export the project as a JPG, PNG, or PDF.
